MDDr. Tomas Modrocky
Dedicated to his patients, with a passion to preserve and maintain healthy teeth and smile, Dr TM believes that prevention is better than cure. Always keen to expand his knowledge and skills, and utilise new technologies to make the patient experience more comfortable and pain-free. Dr TM qualified at the Karl’s University, Prague and took his training in a dental hospital in Frankfurt as part of Goethe University. He worked in the United Kingdom for 10 years, where he developed an interest for Implantology and Periodontology and became an active member of Implantology and Beyond Society. He is currently finishing a Master’s degree in Implantology and Periodontology at the University of Bonn, Germany.
In his free time, he enjoys outdoor sports such as skiing and learning new languages.

Yana Tomes, MSc
With extensive administrative and coordinator experience within customer-facing roles, Yana prides herself on delivering person-centred patient care. She is involved in all aspects of practice management and assists Dr TM during appointments. In her free time she enjoys Tango dancing, trekking and horse riding and is fluent in Russian and English.

Technologies we use

Here are some examples of technologies we use for more effective and accurate diagnosis.

Dental Loupes
Tooth inner structure is too small for the naked eye. This device enables the dentist to see the teeth more closely and thus in more detail, which leads to more accurate diagnosis and more precise treatment. For example, it allows the removal of only the infected part of the tooth, seeing cracks in the tooth or check for leaking filling (picture of normal tooth and magnified picture of same tooth).

Dental Digital X-ray
Digital Xray allows us to look inside and around the tooth and enables us to provide a more accurate diagnosis without the need for surgery. It can highlight dental issues such as cavities, bone loss, plaque, etc.

3D Printing Technology
This allows us to manufacture dental items such as teeth models, crowns, onlays to our patient’s exact specifications.

Intra-oral Scanner
This piece of technology allows us to take a precise digital impression of your teeth.
